Though still very young, the mature actress adapted well to her already successful career. In 2001, she appeared in The Affair of the Necklace, starring Hilary Swank, and the comedy Joe Somebody, starring Tim Allen.

Hayden Panettiere went back to television for Ally McBeal in 2002 and the made-for-TV movie Tiger Cruise in 2004, but established herself as a film actress with roles in 2004's Raising Helen (starring Kate Hudson) and The Dust Factory, and 2005's Ice Princess.

In 2006, Hayden Panettiere starred in Mr. Gibb and, that same year, she earned the role of a lifetime: Claire Bennet on the hit drama Heroes. Since then, her popularity has skyrocketed. She has received tons of publicity, partly because of the hit drama, but also because of her increasing number of endorsements -- Hayden Panettiere's face now appears everywhere.

Hayden Leslie Panettiere was born on 21st August 1989 in Palisades, New York. She still lives in New York with her parents. As for movies, Hayden starred in Remember the Titans (2000) with Denzel Washington and Joe Somebody (2001) with Tim Allen. When Hayden isn't working, she enjoys singing, dancing, horseback riding, gymnastics, taking piano lessons, and swimming. Began her acting career at 11 months when she appeared in a commercial for Playskool.
Has appeared in over 50 commercials.

Parents are Lesley R. Vogel, a former soap opera actress, and Alan L. "Skip" Panettiere, a fire department lieutenant. Coincidentally, her first rescue on "Heroes" (2006/II) was from a train wreck fire. She takes karate and boxing lessons. 7/21/98: Soap Opera Magazine's star of the week.
