Philip Huang in Macy's Catalog, September 2008

I am soooooo in love with this photo. [Click on the photo to see the large format.] I think it's something to do with the dark suits with pastel colored backgrounds that makes this photo pop. Or maybe it's the styling where everyone looked like they were having a great time in Chinatown.

Philip Huang for Macy's Catalog, August 2008

Philip Huang is probably the top Asian male model working in the international scene today. Unfortunately, the visibility of Asian male models has not caught up to the popularity of the female counterpart. Nonetheless, it is refreshing to see him still working even if it is for Macy's.

Gwen Lu & Hyoni in Macy's Catalog

It seems like Gwen Lu and Hyoni Kang are competing in the same market because both were in Target's ads for Go International and now, Macy's catalog. But Hyoni has done a lot better with editorials in Korea Vogue and US Teen Vogue, and a few high profile runway jobs like 3.1 Philip Lim and Marc for Marc Jacobs.
