"90210" Star: I Was Not "Beautiful" Enough for "Twilight"
He's one of the beautiful people on "90210" -- but there's one role Matt Lanter apparently wasn't "beautiful" enough to play: Edward Cullen.
Lanter, who spoofed the Edward role in the film "Vampires Suck," tells "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer" he actually tried out for the lead in "Twilight" -- but the casting director told him he wasn't "hauntingly beautiful enough" for the gig.
The part -- and all the crazy fame that comes with it -- instead went to Robert Pattinson.
